Let’s All Prevent Rabies! (Hand Fan)

To manage rabies in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), the community was educated in the local language regarding the handling of bite wounds. Rabies is transmitted through bites, licks to open wounds, and also mucous glands from Rabies Transmitting Animals (HPR). Bite wounds from HPR should be washed with soap and running water for 15 minutes, after which immediately report the incident to the nearest health centre. Dog owners should also routinely vaccinate their pets.
