About AIHSP

The AIHSP is a five-year initiative (2020–2025) aimed at strengthening Indonesia's health security systems. Supported by the Australian Government, AIHSP enhances the nation's ability to prevent, detect, and respond to public and animal health emergencies. By embracing a One Health approach, the program addresses human, animal, and environmental health in Indonesia.

Key Contributions
and Activities

Since its launch in early 2020, AIHSP has provided crucial support for Indonesia’s COVID-19 response, and has laid the groundwork for sustained health improvements through advanced disease surveillance, laboratory capacity, data management, and emergency preparedness. The partnership's reach spans multiple regions, including South Sulawesi, Bali, Central Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta, and East Nusa Tenggara, fostering vital collaboration at both the national and provincial levels.
