Regulatory Review of Health Laboratory System in Indonesia

The health laboratory is an important component of the national health system. Public Health Laboratory (PHL), as a type of health laboratory service, provides important services including disease surveillance; detection of disease-causing pathogens and outbreaks; emergency response; and environmental monitoring. The review’s purpose is to summarise policies and identify the contents of laboratory-related regulations, as well as to provide suggestions and recommendations.
