District Head of Jembrana Circular Letter on Community-Based Rabies Control in Jembrana District

To address the high number of rabies cases in Jembrana District, the Regent of Jembrana issued Circular Letter (SE) No. 524/2486/TAN/2023. The Circular Letter describes the steps that need to be taken to minimise the threat of rabies. Measures outlined in the Circular include collecting data on the dog population, conducting vaccinations, controlling the dog birth rate, regulating and monitoring rabies-carrying animals, and establishing Rabies Alert Team (TISIRA).
