Regulation and Instruction of East Nusa Tenggara Governor on Rabies Response in Timor Island

The confirmation of rabies and the establishment of rabies outbreak status in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province has prompted the Governor of NTT to issue instructions and regulations on rabies control efforts in NTT. This promotive, preventive, curative, and depopulation of rabies-transmitting animals (HPR) effort is carried out through monitoring of HPR traffic, mandatory trapping and vaccination, data collection and budgeting of anti-rabies vaccines (VAR), establishment of Rabies Task Force and Command Post, and improvement of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC).
