Development of the Animal Health Renstra

Directorate of Animal Health is currently preparing a strategic plan to be included in the RPJMN. The issue highlighted in the strategic plan is the handling of cross-border animal diseases based on the many cases of disease and outbreaks that have emerged in the past 5 years, coupled with the fulfillment of national animal protein needs. This document examines the recommended approach in preparing the strategic plan by considering investment in improving animal health services to improve human health and welfare.
