Tackling Outbreaks through Collaboration: An Innovative Approach to Control Jembrana and Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in Bone, South Sulawesi

COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration in outbreak control, where partnerships among various stakeholders proved crucial. Building on this experience, the Bone District Government has adopted a similar approach to managing priority animal diseases, such as Jembrana and foot and mouth diseases (FMD). Various activities and strategies have been implemented to strengthen cross-sectoral cooperation in controlling Jembrana and FMD, resulting in significant impact on case reduction and vaccination rates.
