Pocket Book on Rabies: Stay Aware of Rabies!

Rabies is a disease that affects Bone District, South Sulawesi. To deal with this, the local government has distributed a pocketbook containing rabies education. Rabies spread through bites or licks of mucosal tissue (eyes and mouth). To prevent infection in pets, it is recommended to vaccinate regularly and keep pets indoors. If bitten, it is recommended to wash the wound with soap and running water and report to the nearest health centre.
