Published on 24 January 2023
This study found that communication in delivering COVID-19 risk information is crucial for people with disabilities. Communication by the government and health promotion by elements of the health workforce require a mindset that fosters inclusivity. For example, by providing voice over or sign language interpreters, both in the media and in COVID-19 vaccination activities. Relevant institutions can support local governments in providing accessible public information guidelines for people with disabilities, especially COVID-19 vaccination information.
