Immunogenicity of Oral Rabies Vaccine Strain SPBN GASGAS in Local Dogs in Bali, Indonesia

Rabies vaccination is an important step in disease control in Bali Province. Through door-to-door vaccination efforts to ensure widespread vaccination coverage, however, this implementation is still unable to target existing stray dogs. Therefore, Oral Rabies Vaccination (ORV) incorporated in boiled eggs is an effective long-term solution. This study reviews this implementation and how it may affect rabies control in Bali.
