Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) Impact and Control Options

In 2022, Government of Indonesia conducted foot and mouth disease (FMD) import vaccine entry as part of the FMD mass vaccination. However, the control effort is stil ineffective due to the FMD status changed into endemic. This drives the import vaccine entry through registration and can be executed if the available FMD import vaccine has passed its expiry date. The policy brief is composed to give technical perspective and recommendation of the expired imported vaccine usage plan.
