Strengthening Coordination for Strategic Transboundary Animal Diseases (PHMS) Control Between Government of Central Java and Special Region of Yogyakarta

Central Java and Yogyakarta are regions with sporadic anthrax cases. This cross-border area is a potential risk factor in the spread of transmission of Strategic Infectious Animal Disease (PHMS), so it is crucial to conduct joint surveillance between Central Java and Yogyakarta. AIHSP facilitated several important meetings that resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two provinces, the development of anthrax control guidelines and SOPs, and the expansion of risk communication networks.
